Special Needs Cheer

Team Shine, Oregon’s FIRST cheerleading team for athletes with special needs, started at StyleShock in January of 2008.  With three and a half incredibly rewarding seasons under their belt, we are more excited than ever for Team Shine’s fourth season!  Last season, our athletes continued in the footsteps of our pioneer squad and truly made an impression on our hearts and on our community, not only in several performances throughout the Portland area, but also by earning another championship at the Sea-To-Sky International Competition in Vancouver, B.C., Canada!

Volunteers for Team Shine are comprised of current and former StyleShock athletes, local area high school cheerleaders and coaches, dedicated parents and college students.  All who demonstrate the compassion to teach and the desire to grow are welcome to volunteeer!
